Large shopping centers

If what we want is to go shopping or spend the day with family or friends, we have two large shopping centers with all kinds of services, one of them is El Portal La Marina, located in Ondara with easy accessibility and endless services.

Secondly, we have the Marina shopping center located in the town of Benidorm, this shopping center is also easily accessible and has all kinds of services.

On the other hand, the closest option would be the leisure and service shopping center located in the heart of the municipality of Calpe, Plaza Central Calpe.

Shopping at local markets

Mediterranean culture is full of cultural references and one of them is the markets.

The local markets in the Moraira area are often a popular place for tourists and local residents to buy fresh produce and local handicrafts. Local markets usually take place on specific days of the week and may include a variety of products, such as fruits and vegetables, fish and meat, handicrafts and textiles, as well as food and drink.

One day a week, the municipalities have a flea market where you can find top quality fruits and vegetables, clothes and all kinds of products. You can find these markets every Wednesday in Teulada (Pl. VI Centenari) and Calpe (Av. País Valencià), Fridays in Moraira (Parking Les Sorts), Saturdays in Benissa (C. San José) and Calpe (C. Petit/ Av. Rumania).

Green shopping

Local markets are often a popular place to buy fresh, local produce, and many of them also offer organic and ecological products. Organic products are those that are grown without the use of synthetic chemicals and pesticides, and organic products are those that have minimal environmental impact in their production and transportation.

At a local market, you can find a variety of organic and eco-friendly products, including organic fruits and vegetables, meat and fish from sustainable farms and fisheries, organic dairy products, grains and seeds, and organic and eco-friendly personal care and household products. By buying organic and eco-friendly products at a local market, you are supporting local farmers and reducing the carbon footprint of your purchases.

However, it is important to keep in mind that not all products sold in a local market are necessarily organic or ecological, it is always advisable to ask the seller or look for certifications to make sure of this.

In addition, by buying local and organic products at a local market, you also help reduce the carbon footprint of your purchases, as the products do not have to be transported long distances before reaching you.
